The ANZNN Clinical Practice Improvement Conference (CPI2023) is back in 2023 after a successful return to face to face format in 2022. The conference will bring together nursing, medical and allied health professionals from across the ANZNN member network to share knowledge and foster collaboration for clinical practice improvement within neonatal units (NICUs). Founded in 2016, the conference attracts delegates from every member unit as well as local and international guest speakers. This year we aim to build on previous year’s clinical practice outcomes and set new and ambitious targets to improve the quality and safety of newborn care within our neonatal units!
To encourage nursing and allied health attendance and participation we have again discounted the conference fees and accommodation for a number of sponsored delegates per member unit. Nomination of sponsored delegates must be provided by ANZNN Directors only.
Delegates will meet at the Manly Pacific overlooking beautiful Manly Beach. CPI2023 will be structured over three days. Day 1 will consist of pre-conference network meetings and various optional workshops. Day 2 will feature international and local guest speakers who will each conclude with a Q&A session as well as abstract presentations from member units. The conference dinner will be a chance to relax, network and catch up with colleagues. Day 3 will feature an interactive program with seven breakout sessions, each breakout session will focus on a priority subject area for NICU clinical practice improvement. Interactive abstract poster sessions will also feature across day 2 and 3. We hope delegates will examine evidence and discuss implementation strategies at the bedside throughout the duration of the conference.
